NET SS 2026

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Two months before NEET SS, you’re probably going back over hard topics, forgetting clinical details and trying to fit revision in around residency duties. Studying more won’t necessarily fix that. What helps is knowing where you’re weak, getting clearer on the clinical side and sticking to a plan.

It comes down to this: understand the concepts, tie them to clinical practice, and practice using what you know.

How to Prepare for NEET SS in the Last Two Months?

1. Focus on Your Weak Areas

Giving every topic equal time is a waste. Find the concepts you keep forgetting or mixing up. Go through questions you’ve done before, see where the gaps are and put the topics that need more work first.

2. Connect Theory with Clinical Practice

Orthopedics isn’t a subject you can get through by remembering facts. You have to understand clinical signs, examination findings and case presentations. Clinical demonstrations help link what you read to what you’d see in a real patient.

3. Practise Questions and Analyse Mistakes

After each mock test, don’t just look at the score. Work out whether you missed a fact, misunderstood a concept or couldn’t apply what you knew. Let those mistakes tell you what to revise next.

Your Two-Month Revision Plan

Month 1: Revise the important topics, firm up the difficult concepts and solve questions regularly.

Month 2: Spend it on mock tests, the mistakes that keep coming back, clinical concepts and repeated revision.

Final Week: Go back to notes you already know and the important concepts. Don’t swamp yourself with new resources.

Set targets you can meet, and build a routine around your residency duties.
