Orthopedic surgery is a fast developing specialty and is attracting a large number of highly skilled residents. Concepts which we learn today will change over time and soon become something of the past. Hence daily updating and lifelong learning has become an integral part of the life of Orthopedic surgeons.
In this scenario Conceptual Orthopedics has launched a book  ‘The Orthopedic Theory Examination.’ This book will help students to face the theory examination confidently.
I sincerely hope that this book will be of great help to the examination going students.

Orthopedics is a very alive and dynamic field with newer concepts of patient management being discovered every day and older concepts being revisited constantly.Â
It’s not possible to stay abreast with all the new concepts for an orthopedics student. The first aim of this book is to help students achieve this goal.
Secondly, passing any exam is the first step towards success in the long career of any student and theory exam is a part of most of the orthopaedic exams. This book aims to teach the students how to answer their exam questions in a brief and concise manner.
As the great Morpheus had once said to Neo – ‘I can only show you the path but you are the one who has to walk through it.’ So we, your faculty at Conceptual Orthopedics is here to guide you but the real success will come only with your hard work and perseverance.Â
So work hard and success will surely be yours. All the very best

The purpose of this book is to provide a quick revision for the exam going students. A resident gains knowledge about orthopedic conditions during their residency from both reading as well as practical exposure. Regular reading and understanding are a must for all residents throughout their short period of training. However, as a post graduate, his/her primary aim is to acquire a degree with which gives them the license to practice orthopedics. Theory examinations in our country are the initial mode of assessment of the student’s knowledge and one can be asked about the basics up to the recent advances in orthopedics. Great emphasis in hospital care and patient managements have been witnessed in recent year papers.
Last minute revision is the key to success in any theory exam. This helps the student to compile and consolidate whatever they have seen, read and reproduced during their residency into well-formed systematic answers in their exams. This book is being delivered to our precious students to fulfil this.
The book has to be approached keeping the following in mind-
All the very best to the budding enthusiastic orthopedic surgeons.
