- As a student of orthopedics, in their first year of residency, one has to be familiar with the basics before dealing with patients. This includes ward and Operation theatre (OT) discipline. - As a clinician there are various clinical tests that one has to use to reach a diagnosis. Most of the tests are learned with practice and this aids them to diagnose the exact clinical condition. However, if once learned in the wrong way it is very difficult to unlearn the same.
