The fellowship will provide the fellow an exposure
to simple and complex arthroplasty, arthroscopy and trauma surgeries being conducted in the unit of Dr. Apurv Mehra in Various hospitals in New Delhi. The fellow will be expected to be a part of the team participating in pre-operative planning. surgery and post-surgical follow up of various surgeries conducted in the unit The fellow will be expected to participate in research activities being done in the unit
The unit is currently based at Vidya Jeevan Orthopedic Centre, Vigyan Vihar, New Delhi and admits and operates Its patients at Maxx Super speciality hospital, Patparganj and a few other nearby local hospitals. The unit has a high workload and specializes in Knee, hip and shoulder arthroplasty, Knee and shoulder arthroscopy and complex trauma surgeries. This fellowship provides an excellent opportunity to orthopedic surgeons looking to enhance their knowledge and surgical skills in the field of arthroplasty and arthroscopy.
This unique fellowship will give the fellow an opportunity to rotate amongst the various CO faculty based in Delhi/NCR as per their availability. This Rotatory fellowship will give exposure to a wide variety of orthopedic subspecialties including trauma, wrist and hand, shoulder and elbow, arthroscopy, arthroplasty, Foot and ankle surgery and orthopedic oncology as per their availability The Fellow would also be rotated to CO faculty at Mangalore for 6 Weeks for exposure to Trauma & Arthroplasty work (Accommodation will be provided)
