A Message from Dr. Apurv Mehra Founder of Conceptual Orthopedics
Every Orthopedics surgery is a new challenge, demanding precision, confidence, and sometimes… a little guidance. As Prof. Dr. S. M. Tuli wisely says, “A surgeon has to be lucky every single time.” But luck alone is not always enough.
Have you ever wished for a mentor to guide you, step by step, through the intricate moments in the operating theatre? This dream is now a reality.
Introducing
iO² interactive Operative Orthopedics
A revolutionary app by the team of Conceptual Orthopedics, iO² is designed to bring mentorship and expertise directly into the operation theatre, empowering Orthopedics surgeons to excel in real-time. Let us walk you through the concept of iO²:
What is iO²?
- iO² stands for interactive Operative Orthopedics, a principle-driven platform focused on providing real-time guidance during Orthopedics Surgical procedures.
- It involves planned Orthopedics surgeries where subscribers are notified in advance about upcoming procedures.
Users can select areas of interest such as:
– Robotic Knee Replacements
– Direct Anterior Hip Replacements
– Periprosthetic Fracture Repairs
– Arthroscopic Procedures
– Advanced Complex Trauma cases like Acetabulum Surgeries
How Does It Work?
1. Planned Surgical Sessions:
- Subscribers are informed a day in advance about scheduled Orthopedics surgeries.
- X-rays, clinical pictures, and Orthopedics surgical plans are shared, allowing participants to engage in pre-operative planning.
2. One-on-One Mentorship:
- Small, exclusive groups (4-5 participants) are selected for a personalized learning experience.
- Mentors guide participants through each step of the Orthopedics surgical process, providing real-time feedback.
3. Live Surgical Demos:
- Participants join live Orthopedics surgeries, observing and interacting with Orthopedics surgeon as they perform complex procedures.
4. Post-Surgery Q&A:
- After the surgery, a detailed question-and-answer session is conducted, enabling participants to clarify doubts and deepen their understanding.
5. Bilateral Learning:
- Over time, the platform transitions to assisting participants in their own surgical cases via virtual mentorship.
- The goal is mutual learning, fostering a community where experience is shared and expertise is built collaboratively.
Why iO²?
– Traditional conferences and live Orthopedics surgical courses are inspiring but often challenging to replicate in real-time practice. iO² bridges this gap.
– The platform emphasizes that experience is the key difference between Orthopedics surgeons and aims to help participants handle Orthopedics surgical stress effectively.
– iO² ensures you learn from the best while fostering a continuous learning process, as “The learning never ends.“
