Prof Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sir trained in spinal surgery and joint replacement surgeries to augment his skills. He is among the finest Orthopedic Doctors known for offering excellent patient care. His areas of interest lie in repair and regeneration of bone, joint replacement surgeries, spinal diseases and allogenic bone banking. Sir has vast experience in the field of academics and has worked in various institutions of the UK, Malaysia, Nepal and India.
Prof. Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sir retired as the Head Professor and Head of the Orthopedics Department at the College of Medical Sciences and GTB Hospital, Delhi University. After which, he joined Sharda Hospital as He has authored and published 72 indexed publications and has also been the President and Secretary of the Delhi Orthopaedic Association.
Sir has been the Editor in Chief of the Indian Journal of Orthopaedics, Chairman of the Board of Research Study, Faculty at the Medical Sciences College, University of Delhi and the Chairman of Medical Equipment and Implant Section, Bureau of Indian Standard, Government of India. Besides this, he has also been a visiting Professor at the Universiti Sains, Malaysia and B. P. Koirala Institute of Medical Sciences, Nepal.

- As a student of orthopedics, in their first year of residency, one has to be familiar with the basics before dealing with patients. This includes ward and Operation theatre (OT) discipline.
